July 14th- Giro di Burnaby, Burnaby, BC- Grain stamps first annual trophy with a backyard victory. Located one block from her house, Gina Grain went for a 40 lap block cruise with 30 other women fighting for the first annual victory of the Giro di Burnaby. In a mass downhill sprint for the line, Grain whipped out her international experience to power over the line with confidence as she raised her arms in victory.
